Bisar is one of the most beautiful places of north India. It is the destination of wildlife for tourists. In Uttrakhand, it is known as most reliable place for wildlife traveling. Binsar is situated in Uttrakhand state of India which is near about Almora. Its distance from Almora is only 33 km in north side. The place is on the top of Jhandi Dhar hills. So, it looks amazing in the morning and in the sunset.

Binsar has rich history. It was the capital of Kings “Chand”. Chand emperor ruled over Kumaon from 11th to 18th centuries AD. The place was established in 1988 as wildlife for the conservation and protection of the shrinking broad leaf oak. The forest has about 200 birds’ species and it is under Central Himalayan region.

The forest has wide geography which covers over 45.59km². The place has been acclaimed as hill resort of India for traveling and tourism.

To reach Binsar a person can take a bus or a train for Almora. Almora is well connected with rail and bus route.
